Lifelong learning and training
The Metrotechnics Laboratory actively supports the NTUA's newly founded Centre of Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning (CCELL), which offers educational programs for Professionals and Business Executives. Its executives teach in two (2) educational programs offered by CCELL, and a Laboratory executive has assumed the position of Quality Manager at the ELOT EN ISO 9001:2015-certified Centre of Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning (CCELL) of the National Technical University of Athens.

Quality Management and Control: Theory, Practice and Tools
Quality Management is an essential tool for the growth and improvement of all organizations today. The ideas of "compliance with requirements," "continuous improvement," and "total quality" are intertwined with the pioneering Organizations and Businesses - the industry leaders.
The curriculum titled "Quality Management and Control: Theory, Practice, and Tools" aims to train executives in quality assurance, management, and control.
Learners will have acquired the knowledge and skills necessary to work as quality experts in private and/or public organizations, including (but not limited to) manufacturing firms, service firms, technical firms, software development, testing and calibration laboratories, etc., upon successful completion of the program.
Learners will gain an understanding of quality, certification, and accreditation, and will have the opportunity to study the most prevalent industry standards, such as ISO 9001: 2015 (Quality Management), ISO 19011: 2018 (Conducting Audits), and ISO 31000: 2018 (Risk Management).

Organizational Training in Project Management and Risk Management
Project Management and Risk Management are key components of the modern Organizations and Businesses management process and are facilitators and promoters of their evolution and development.
The program "Organizational Training in Project Management and Risk Management" aims to train teams of personnel from Organizations and Businesses in Project Management and Risk Management.
After successful completion of the program, the trained teams will have acquired knowledge in methods, techniques and tools of project management and risk management that can be applied directly to their work environment. The main value of the program is that in each cycle of the program, personnel from a single Organization / Business participate so that the training is tailored to the needs of the Organization / Business and the personnel understand fully how they should operate / collaborate within the context of the Organization / Business they work for.
The trained teams will come into contact with concepts related to projects and risks in general, but also with specific practical techniques and software tools for project management (MS Project) and risk management, according to the most modern and internationally accepted standards of project management and risk management ISO 21502:2020 (Project Management), ISO 31000:2019 (Risk Management), PMI PMBOK® Guide.
